Allergy and Asthma Care Mid-South
|

Allergy & Asthma Care Mid-South (AAC) has participated in clinical research in
adult and pediatric allergy, asthma, and immunology for over 20 years
AAC takes part in clinical research for a variety of reasons. As physicians, it allows
us to stay informed about the most current advances in the practice of allergy,
asthma and immunology and to offer our patients the opportunity to contribute
to the development of the new treatments. The Food and Drug Administration
(FDA) regulates research, and patient rights are protected by an Institutional
Research Board (IRB).
AAC has an active patient database but is continually recruiting patients to
participate in clinical trials. Some of the benefits of being in a clinical research trial
include the following:
- No cost for a comprehensive medical evaluation
- Free study medicine, along with comprehensive care for the problem
being studied
- Payment for time and travel
Please scroll down for a list of our current studies. If you are interested in
participating in a current or future clinical trial, please call 901-757-6100 and ask
to speak to our study coordinator, Paula Miller, MSN, RN.
